White matt Fenix NTM custom made kitchen
Fenix NTM kitchens become one of our most popular types of projects which we have completed in recent years. This time we would like to do a case study of a lovely compact size kitchen which we have designed manufactured and installed for one of our clients based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
The general idea was to implement a combination of modern but still warm furniture into the sloped ceiling open plan kitchen which is joined with the living room. After a couple of visits to our workshop customer decided to choose a combination of birch plywood slab doors finished with Fenix NTM laminate in white Bianco Kos colour.
Custom made kitchen design
The carcases have been manufactured with an Egger Grey Beige Gladstone Oak MFC board finished with plywood edging. On top of the cabinets, we have installed a 40mm thick solid oak worktop finished with oil vax. This particular kitchen was also finished with a brass handleless profile giving the furniture additional visual impact and dense character. As a part of the project, we have also manufactured and installed a number of solid oak floating shelves.
Functions, ergonomy and storage management
To optimise the functionality and storage of the furniture we have implemented a number of pull-out baskets and drawers in many key areas of the kitchen. Including blind corner pull out basket, pull out bin with integrated drawer, under hob drawer, drawer under the sink and 6 storage drawers distributed in the other areas of the kitchen.
Wall units are a combination of standard and bifold doors which makes the kitchen style more diverse. This time we decided to do compromise the height in the favour of keeping the room more spacious instead of getting more storage space.
